The Honey, fruit of the incessant work of bees, was known since antiquity and praised for its virtues, by Egyptian, Assyrian, Greek and Roman it was considered as fountain of youth, strength, wellness and cure for all ills.
So far this food sweet and precious, fragrant flowers and berries, rich in thousands of shades in the color
and taste, is part of our diet.
It is not easy to continue to produce honey with the same characteristics of what it once was, nutritious and wholesome that gave force to our grandparents, especially now that the bees have to deal with environmental pollution that penalizes, even when
not annihilates them.
Honey of the San Bernardino still maintains the original and genuine properties of this special and unique food.
Our honey is produced by the beehives placed in the land of San Bernardino, in an uncontaminated environment, clean and open
spaces, away from drains, gas industries, roads and houses.
Honey can be monoflora, if it comes mainly from a particular type of flower or plant, or poliflora or millefiori (wildflower) in the opposite case.
Its color varies from white water to light amber or gold, coming to be dark, almost black.
It appears liquid and transparent or solid, with a consistency that ranges from creamy and compact.
In our company you will find wildflower, acacia and chestnut honey.
